Maintenance and Care of Drive Shafts

To ensure proper operation of the drive shaft and extend its service life, observe the following precautions during use:

1. Never start the vehicle in high gear.

2. Avoid abruptly releasing the clutch pedal.

3. Never overload the vehicle or exceed speed limits.

4. Regularly inspect the drive shaft's operational condition.

5. Regularly inspect the tightness of drive shaft mounts, check for damage to support rubber, verify that all drive shaft connections are secure, and ensure the drive shaft is not deformed.

6. To maintain dynamic balance, regularly check for detached balance weights. New drive shaft assemblies are supplied as matched sets. When installing a new drive shaft, pay attention to the assembly markings on the telescopic sleeve and ensure the flange forks are in the same plane. When disassembling the drive shaft for maintenance, stamp assembly marks on both the telescopic sleeve and flange shaft to maintain the original assembly relationship during reassembly.

7. Regularly lubricate the universal joint cross bearings with grease. Use No. 3 lithium-based grease in summer and No. 2 lithium-based grease in winter.
